Our comprehensive range of general steel products held at our Chester warehouse is complimented by many associated products including: Weldmesh, Open Steel Flooring, Handrails, Tubeclamps and the Qrail Stainless Steel Balustrade System.

On-site processing facilities at Chester comprise of five saws capable of batch and mitre cutting and able to handle structural sections up to 533mm.

We operate a fast and efficient delivery service covering Chester, North Wales, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire and Warrington.

The levels of service provided from our Chester site are enhanced by being part of the Barrett Steel Group of companies, which is one of the largest groups of independent steel stockholders in the country.

The Barrett Steel group consists of over 25 general steel stockholders along with specialist sites for Tubes, Precision Tubes, Engineering Bar and Profiling holding in excess of 80,000 tonnes of steel stock. With all of our sites having cutting capability and seven of them housing shotblasting and priming plant the Barrett Steel Group offers large stocks and high levels of service across the country.

Our new Omega Steel site specialising in the processing of structural sections represents a £6 million investment in some of the most technologically advanced machinery available today. We have also added a Jumbo Laser Tube cutting machine, which is the largest one in the country and can process tubes up to 20" in diameter - Hollow Sections 400 x 400 & 500 x 300 in thicknesses up to 16mm, with a maximum input length of 18m and finished lengths of 15m. to the existing three laser tube machines at our specialist Tubes site.
